Creating a Diverse, Highly-Skilled Cybersecurity Workforce

Military veterans are by nature problem-solvers who understand the importance of maintaining a strong defense posture and following the chain of command when dealing with an active threat. As part of Fortinet's Education Outreach program, the Fortinet Veterans program works to fill the cybersecurity skills gap by helping facilitate the transition of military service members, veterans, and military spouses into the cybersecurity industry. The program has a presence in the US, Canada, UK, and Australia as well as having a reach throughout the world with our network of partners.

Fortinet Supports Military Communities

With over 3000 veterans and spouses receiving benefits to date, the Fortinet Veterans program is free for all military service members, veterans, and military spouses to help transition into a career in cybersecurity.

When individuals exit the military, they may not have the social network necessary to find employment in the private sector. The Fortinet Veterans program works to connect these individuals with our partners who can help prepare them for a role in cybersecurity, develop their skills and expand their networks.
